Sharjah International Airport Rewards the Winners of the “Because We Care Program” Surveys were carried out to obtain feedback and improve world-class facilities and services

Sharjah, 26 MARCH, 2017: In line with its keenness to strengthen its relations with customers, Sharjah Airport Authority awarded Mr. Mohamed Ali, Mr. Saqib Qamar and Ms. Hanadi Lutfi, the winners of the Customer Feedback Questionnaire (CFQ) on the 20th of March, 2017. The winners were awarded Air Arabia Tickets by Ms. Alya Obaid Al Shamsi, Director of Marketing and Customer Relations.

Sharjah Airport Authority launched the “Because We Care” Program in June 2009 with the purpose of monitoring feedback of airport customers about services and facilities offered. With the addition of giving them the ability to evaluate their traveling experience and identifying their suggestions for improvement of the airport as well as what services they aspire to see implemented in the airport.

H.E Sheikh Faisal Bin Sauod Al Qasimi, Director of Sharjah Airport Authority, reaffirmed the Authority’s commitment towards customer satisfaction at Sharjah International Airport, by encouraging them to participate in programs which allow them to communicate and express opinions, as well as provide suggestions to improve the facilities and services provided and said “Our customers are at the heart of our operation and listening to their feedback and learning from them and is the best way to evaluate and measure our success. Our goal is to ensure that we are providing quality services that exceed our customers’ expectations. Passengers are our priority which is why we have introduced the Customer Feedback Questionnaire Program as it helps us gain valuable insights about what our customers expect and for us to proactively provide efficient solutions that address their specific needs”, stressing at the same time on the fact that “Because We Care” Program has received interest from the Authority’s management and remarkable interaction by users of Sharjah International Airport since launch.

Ms. Alya Obaid Al Shamsi, Director Marketing and Customer Relations, said: “Sharjah Airport Authority takes into consideration all customer suggestions and works on executing the best ones after developing them. The process reflects positively on the Authority and contributes to the betterment of the quality of the services offered at Sharjah International Airport. Knowing the needs of our customers helps us greatly in the process of adopting highly qualified and fast mechanisms that allow us to serve them better. With no doubt the “Because We Care” Program has allowed us to implement the best practices which contributed in upgrading the airport services.

Considering the significance of this program, Sharjah Airport Authority worked on continuously evolving it and expanding ways to participate in it wherein airport customers can evaluate the airport and state their opinions through the website www.sharjahairport.ae or by filling the surveys distributed in the departure and arrival halls or through the mobile device that the airport personnel use to interview customers. Customer can also use the smartphone application ‘Sharjah Airport’ which was launched recently through which participation in the program was made possible followed by the Authority choosing winners according to the most efficient suggestions.
