Training Section at Sharjah Airport Authority organized 54 courses with 504 participants in 2013

The Training Section at Sharjah Airport Authority announced that it has trained 504 staff from the Department of Civil Aviation, Sharjah Airport Authority and other Entities Participated in 54 training courses in 2013.The section has adopted a new strategy for 2014 to keep trainees informed of the latest achievements in the challenging aviation sector where growth is continuously accelerating, and fulfill the needs of different sections in Sharjah International Airport. The section will depend mainly on conducting training programs by its own Emirati qualified staff with their on research and training efforts. Some of new courses were approved, such as: a workshop on initiative and innovation, management of priorities, strengthening the skills of the mind and sharpen the memory, how to overcome the stress, workshop on how to manage meetings, and keys of self-confidence.The programs and courses to keep pace with the programs that applied by the International Civil Aviation Organization, and Airports Council International for the best practices and programs that should be known by the staff working within aviation sector.H.E. Ali Salim Al Midfa, Director General of Sharjah Airport Authority stated:”Human Recourses training aims at improving the knowledge experience, skills, performance, work techniques, behavior, and attitude of the sharjah airport community Individual and the society, so that they are able to undertake their responsibilities effectively and productively”.He added: “The Training Section at Sharjah Airport Authority, which is supervised by 100 per cent Emirati who have been well trained to keep pace with the modern methods of training, will select the courses which are based on the need of each department, in order to improve the performance of staff”.He noted that the Training Section at the airport organized last year 54 internal and external training courses with 504participants from airport staff and other entities.
