Sharjah, 18 Oct, 2016: Sharjah Airport Authority is participating in the GITEX Technology Week 2016, the largest technology event in the Middle East, Africa, and South Asia, held at the Dubai World Trade Centre from 16-20 October 2016.Its participation comes under the umbrella of the e-Government Department of Sharjah to showcase its e-services and the new mobile application launched this year. The mobile app, which offers airport and flight information as well as basic way finding assistance all in one app; as part of its ongoing efforts to improve passenger experience.H.E Ali Salim Al Midfa, Chairman of Sharjah Airport Authority led the delegation of Sharjah International Airport in the presence of H.E Sheikh Faisal bin Saoud Al Qassimi, Director of Sharjah Airport Authority, along with Sharjah Airport Authority officials and employees.H.E Ali Salim Al Midfa, Chairman of Sharjah Airport Authority, said: “The GITEX Technology Week is an ideal platform to communicate with other government and private sectors, and to showcase their latest e-Services and new technology initiatives.”He added: “Sharjah International Airport is keen to keep up with the latest technology to provide the best for travelers and airport users, to achieve the highest level of customer satisfaction.
