Sharjah International Airport Provides guidelines, medical examinations and gifts to pilgrims

Sharjah, 16 Sep, 2015: Sharjah International Airport began processing the transactions of thousands of pilgrims from the UAE and on transit. The airport’s management is keen to simplify procedures and allocate places for them; in addition to give goodie bags and guidelines to them.HE Sheikh Faisal Bin Saud Al Qassimi, Director of Sharjah Airport Authority along with senior managers received on Wednesday the pilgrims and distributed some gifts a and wished them a peaceful and blessed pilgrimage.HE Ali Salim Al Midfa, Chairman of Sharjah Airport Authority, stated:”The airport has completed preparations for the Hajj season early this year and teams started facilitating pilgrims’ journey besides allocating counters for receiving them and speeding up their procedures”.HE Sheikh Faisal Bin Saud Al Qassimi, Director of Sharjah Airport Authority noted:“All the necessary procedures and arrangements and setting work mechanisms that help facilitate pilgrims’ easy passage will continue till the return of the pilgrims. Moreover, a number of teams were set up to assist the pilgrims. The staff of Public Relations and Customer Service will simplify their procedures and guide them to allocated area so that they can avoid any delay.”Sharjah International Airport in collaborated with Ministry of Health and the Sharjah Center for Preventive Medicine provided the pilgrims with information and awareness on how to perform Hajj, and explained the steps that they must follow, also answered pilgrims’ queries, and distributed health guides that contains guidance, a first-aid bags containing some drugs for first-aid treatment for minor cases were also distributed.The team has recommended all pilgrims to adopt and follow the general safety guidelines and health conditions such as Update vaccinations, and maintaining a high level of hygiene. Also, Sharjah Islamic Affairs has allocated a preacher to increase the awareness of the pilgrims and provides them with information they need to perform Hajj.
