Sharjah Airport Authority participated in the 3rd Air Cargo Africa exhibition and showcased its latest developments, services, facilities, and other business opportunities.Air Cargo Africa 2015 was held on 25-27 February 2015 at Johannesburg, South Africa. It is an international biennial event showcasing Africa’s air cargo potential on a global scale, and was attended by key players from the African cargo community, including manufacturers, shippers, airlines, airports, freight forwarders, charter providers and others.HE Ali Salim Al Midfa, Chairman of Sharjah Airport Authority said: “Sharjah is recognising the African market as a unique market. Air freight in Africa has witnessed a strong growth in recent years; we are committed to strengthening our ties with the African countries and positioning Sharjah as a promising gateway to the whole African continent”.He added: “The exhibition is the ideal platform to showcase the services and facilities provided by the Freight Centre which meets the expectations and requirements of the international freight agents.  Sharjah International Airport and the Freight Centre boasts its modern technology solutions such as e-Clearance cargo portal, e-Service and transporting the shipments across the country’s airports.
