His Excellency Ali Salim Al Midfa, Chairman of Sharjah Airport Authority, inaugurated yesterday the Ramadan Lanterns Exhibition, showcasing a collection of beautiful lanterns, each worth a donation to support orphans associated with the Sharjah Social Empowerment Foundation.His Excellency Ali Salim Al Midfa, Chairman of Sharjah Airport Authority, said: “The hosting of the exhibition comes as part of Sharjah International Airport’s keenness to maintain social responsibility and community service towards all segments and categories of the society. This comes as part of the airport corporate values and in line with consolidating cooperation with charitable organisations”.He explained that the objective of this special exhibition under the name “Ramadan Lanterns” will remind everyone about the approaching holy month of Ramadan and the necessity of preparing ourselves to do humanitarian work. He expressed the hope that the event achieves its objectives and gets the support from other public and private entities as well.The Sharjah Social Empowerment Foundation is keen on being present at the key locations in the UAE which opens opportunities of support to the orphans, in order to help them establish their role in the society and contribute to its development.
