Sharjah Airport Authority participates in the 28th International Air Cargo Forum & Exhibition, Paris

Sharjah, 25th Oct, 2016: Sharjah Airport Authority is participating in TIACA’s 28th International Air Cargo Forum & Exhibition, taking place at Porte de Versailles. Paris, France from 26-28 October 2016. HE Sheikh Faisal Bin Saoud Al Qassimi, Director of Sharjah Airport Authority heads the delegation of the airport  along with Sharjah Airport Authority officials and employees.The International Air Cargo Association (TIACA) holds the premier industry event International Air Cargo Forum and Exhibition, which rotates every two years between Europe, the Americas and Asia. Over 3,000 air cargo decision makers and more than 200 exhibitors from around the world gather at ACF to network and address current industry challenges and opportunities.On this occasion, HE Ali Salim Al Midfa, Chairman of Sharjah Airport Authority, stated: “Sharjah Airport Authority’s participation at the ACF is part of our business plan to showcase the latest services and facilities of Sharjah International Airport to the air cargo community.  This event is an effective platform to meet with the experts and industry decision makers, including international airports, freighter airlines, consolidators, freight forwarders as well as our partners within this industry worldwide. It is also a chance to exchange views with the experts on the latest industry developments”.HE Sheikh Faisal Bin Saoud Al Qassimi, Director of Sharjah Airport Authority, said: “Our participation will showcase the services and facilities provided by the Freight Centre, which meets the expectations and requirements of international freight agents including modern technology solutions that have been developed and introduced such as the new time and temperature controlled Pharma facility.”.Sharjah International Airport has five cargo terminals with a total floor area of 32,000 square meters seen as the region’s leading cargo hub served by dedicated cargo aircraft parking positions equipped to handle up to 16 aircraft of different types.
