Sharjah, Feb 10, 2016: Sharjah Airport Authority is participating in the 18th edition of the National Career Exhibition from February 10 to 12, 2016, at the Expo Centre Sharjah.The Authority’s participation in the exhibition is part of its ongoing efforts to attract more UAE nationals to the aviation sector, train them and offer suitable job opportunities.H.E Ali Salim Al Midfa, Chairman of Sharjah Airport Authority, said: “We have been supporting the National Career Exhibition for many years, taking advantage of the networking potential of the exhibition to support the government’s ongoing efforts to boost Emiratization. The event serves as an important recruitment platform that supports our continuing thrust to identify the most competent Emirati prospects in the job market.”He added: “We at Sharjah International Airport offer great opportunities for ambitious UAE nationals of different background to build successful careers in aviation. We continue to develop Emiratization recruitment and training programmes to meet the market demands for skillful individuals.”The percentage of Emiratization at Sharjah Airport Authority is around 100% in the top management and 65% in general; there are ongoing efforts to increase this percentage each year.The exhibition features ministries and government organizations, banks insurance firms, money exchanges, free zones, financial consultants and recruitment companies, offering Emiratis a variety of job opportunities.
