Accredited airport under ACI AHA programme

First in UAE and the seventh in the Middle East, Sharjah Airport obtained and renewed for the 2nd year in a row the Airport Health Accreditation from Airports Council International. This is inline with the airports directions to provide a safe travel experience for travelers in the wake of the exceptional circumstances of the COVID 19 pandemic.

Departing from Sharjah

• Please check with your airline regarding the medical test requirements of your destination.
• Departing passengers must come to Sharjah Airport not more than 3 hours before their flight departure time.

Arriving to Sharjah

• Arrival passengers who are fully vaccinated with any one of the approved WHO vaccines should hold valid vaccination certificate with a QR code.
• Arrival passenger who are not vaccinated should hold a negative PCR test report with QR code taken within 48 hours before travelling.
• Passengers who are below 12 years are exempted.
