As part of its strategy to communicate with various partners, Sharjah Airport Authority organised a visit for a number of its employees to “Petra: The Wonder of the Desert Exhibition”, which was recently held at Sharjah Archaeology Museum.

The delegation toured the exhibition, the first of its kind to be hosted by the museum from outside the Arabian Gulf region and the first exhibition on the historic city of Petra in Jordan to be held on the regional level. The employees were briefed on the rare artefacts on display, including collections of stone sculptures and handicrafts.

The Authority’s visit to the exhibition is part of its strategy to strengthen relationships with various stakeholders from the government sector, with the aim to contribute to the Emirate’s growth at the cultural, social and economic levels, and promote commercial and tourism activities within the Emirate.
