Sharjah Airport Authority (SAA) recently rewarded the winners of the customer opinions programme, ‘Because We Care’. The programme has been a great success since its launch in 2009, initiating new ideas and suggestions from the general public that have contributed to the upgrade of many essential services provided at Sharjah Airport.

The programme solicited travelers, customers and the general public to share their experiences and opinions regarding Sharjah Airport’s services and facilities, and to offer suggestions that will improve service.  The programme falls under the framework of the Authority’s efforts to enhance the experience of its customers and to ensure excellence in airport services.

SAA awarded three winners with tickets provided by Air Arabia airlines. The list of winners  are: Rolana Suliman from UAE; Huda Abdulaziz from Jordan; and Azza Ahmed Ismael from Egypt, for the months of March and April, 2018.

SAA carried forward the ‘Because We Care’ programme, launched in 2009, as part of its efforts to obtain as many ideas and proposals from its customers in order to grow, each year. For the first time since its launch, the SAA requested feedback from those representing different communities, who use social media, in order to encourage greater interaction with airport authorities – allowing everyone to provide their ideas and suggestions that can contribute to Sharjah Airport’s operating performance. The feedback is used to enhance the airport’s position and importance at regional and global levels and helps SAA to achieve its highest level of customer satisfaction.

Sharjah Airport Authority selects the winners of the best suggestions submitted via Sharjah Airport website (www.sharjahairport.ae), through the SHARJAH AIRPORT application by filling out questionnaires distributed in departure and arrival halls or using the tablets provided by SIA staff.
