Sharjah, UAE – Sep 25, 2016: Sharjah Airport Authority participated at the recently concluded 22nd International Trade Fair for Travel and Tourism also dubbed as “Leisure Moscow” on 21-24 September 2016 in Moscow, Russia.Leisure Moscow is the leading international autumn trade fair for leisure travel in Russia. It occupied 19,000 Sq. M of Exhibition Area, with 750 Exhibitors from 70 Countries, included 160 Business Programme Events with expected 50 thousand Visitors within 4 exhibition days. It is the gateway to the market of Russia and its outbound markets.Sharjah International Airport delegation participation, under the umbrella of Sharjah Commerce and Tourism Development Authority, included a number of senior government officials and representatives from public and private sectors. H.E Ali Salim Al Midfa, Chairman of Sharjah Airport Authority represented the Sharjah International Airport at that event.H.E Ali Salim Al Midfa, Chairman of Sharjah Airport Authority said: “The Sharjah International Airport’s participation in this event for the past years, is within the airport’s commercial plan to further our commitment to the tourism, leisure and aviation sectors in the UAE. The event is an ideal platform for Sharjah International Airport to showcase its services, facilities, in addition to exchange experiences and best practices with the main and renowned companies”.H.E held a series of meetings with some officials of the participating companies in the exhibition introduced them with services and facilities that provided by Sharjah International Airport to airlines, and travel & tourism agencies. Also the discussions included the challenges related to the aviation industry and travel and tourism.
