Sharjah, 18 Sep, 2016: Sharjah International Airport received during the last few days thousands of pilgrims who had returned home onboard flights inbound from KSA main cities like Jeddah and Al Madinah, after finalizing the Holy Lands.As pilgrims return from their spiritual journey, Sharjah International Airport welcomes them with full preparations to ensure ease of flow and complete satisfaction. The airport staff welcomes the pilgrims and distributed gifts.HE Ali Salim Al Midfa, Chairman of Sharjah Airport Authority congratulated the pilgrims on a successful Hajj, and said: “All the necessary arrangements were made to ensure a seamless flow of pilgrims at the airport. A full-fledged plan has been put to action to ensure a smooth flow of pilgrims to the airport and back home again”.He added: “The preparations were at the highest level in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and the UAE airports, which contributed to the smooth and quick procedures, thus providing all means of comfort for the pilgrims”.He expressed his thanks to all the participating parties that provided all kinds of support and assistance to them. Including government entities at Sharjah International Airport, airlines, as well as the Hajj and Umrah companies, where these efforts and coordination between them have yielded great success of this pilgrimage season.Sharjah International Airport is expected to receive other scheduled and non-scheduled inbound Hajj flights from Saudi Arabia.
