Sharjah, U.A.E. 21 September 2016: Sharjah Internarial Airport and Sharjah Aviation Services participated at the 4^th Pharma & Biosciences Conference on 19-20 September 2016 at the JW Marriot Marquis Hotel, Dubai.Sharjah International Airport is the first airport to offer IATA CEIV Pharma certified cargo handling services in the Middle East and Africa, via its sole ground handling agent Sharjah Aviation Services.H.E. Ali Salim Al Midfa, Chairman of Sharjah Airport Authority, stated:” Sharjah International Airport is keen to provide the best services to its clients in various fields. The new Pharma and Healthcare handling facility will serve an important segment of our clients, who are dealing with these kinds of delicate items that need an advance temperature controlled technology of storage, care in handling and shipping, as it affects the human life”.H.E Sheikh Faisal bin Saoud Al Qassimi, Director of Sharjah Airport Authority: “We commissioned in January 2016 its state-of-the-art, dedicated temperature controlled unit and team, developing a bespoke concept to serve its clients and guarantee the product integrity for the rapidly developing Healthcare requirements of the U.A.E. citizens and abroad, and becoming accredited with IATA CEIV Pharma certification in April 2016”.
